Spanish Rice Recipe

How to cook original Spanish Rice:

Step by step recipe on how to cook spanish rice at home.

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes: 3 Medium Sized
  • Basmati Rice: 2 Cups
  • Onion (Diced): 1 Medium Size
  • Cloves Garlic (Minced): 2 Pieces
  • Salt: 1 & Half Teaspoon
  • Jalapeno: 1 Piece
  • Water: 2 Cups
  • Bay Leaf: 1 Piece

The 2 Week Diet

Recipe:

Put peeled and chopped tomatoes in a food processor or blender and make its puree. Then in a heating pan, add olive oil, chopped onions, salt, jalapeno and cook them until onion turns to light brown in color.

Then add garlic paste and rice in it. Stir all ingredients so they should mix with rice.

Now add 2 cups of boiling water and tomato puree in it and stir well. Let it boil and cover the pan with reduced heat. Keep it covered for about 25 minutes and remove the lid.

Slightly shake rice to give fluffy look and your Spanish Rice is all ready.
